Yesterday we were out on the road taking Manon and her gorgeous foal Rowan to their new adoptive family in the Charente. Manon was rescued by one of our supporters last year and came into ERF hands recently so that we could safeguard her and her foals future for the rest of their lives.

Yesterday we said goodbye to ERF donkeys Wilbur & Piona as they headed off to their new Guardians, Carolyn and Eddie, to live in the Gers.
When their previous Guardians found that they had to relocate with their work, they had to make the very sad decision that they couldn’t take the donkeys with them and so had to hand Wilbur and Piona back to ERF.

We’re desperately seeking new Guardians. Rentrée has arrived here in France and we need to find some new homes for 3 pairs of gorgeous donkeys. We have deadlines for all of them – so please help us to find them new loving homes.

Long term donkey friends Daisy & Dora moved down to the Haute Vienne today, to live with their new adopters Shirley and Gordon. These two were probably the most well-behaved donkeys we have come across this year to load and travel. Luckily we got them delivered and settled in before the before the heavens opened….
