A huge THANK YOU!!!

Equine Rescue France would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and donated at our recent Facebook auction!
We have raised a massive 780€, which is excellent news and we are so excited to be able to tell you how this funding has helped our cause.
So here’s a brief summary of our recent expenses, that are being covered by your kindness. Since the beginning of the year, we have had Corran Ard and Accord returned into our care and their ongoing health issues have been a priority here at ERF. With the circumstances of their return the diesel costs incurred have been in excess of 100€ , and this has been covered with your help. Also the feed to see them thru a cold start to the year (57€) repairing and cleaning of equipment (35€). They are both due worming this month, and as 25€ buys one wormer, that’s 50€. Their feet have been trimmed twice already at a cost of 45€ each a time, so that’s 180€, and their teeth are due their annual check up and rasp, so that’s another 50€ each.So you can clearly see how your wonderful generosity has already made such a difference to these beautiful creatures. If they are not rehomed, their feet will be done again next month.
Plus we are going to order some new fly masks for them, to give them relief from one of the discomforts of summer,
So apart from the ongoing care and upkeep of Corran Ard and Accord we have also been out ‘home checking’ new guardians and updating existing ones. It has been a great help that our fuel has been covered to do this important job. This gives you an idea how quickly we use our limited resources here at ERF, however careful we are, and how grateful we are for every cent.
It’s fairly frightening how quickly it all adds up, keeping horses correctly and giving them the best care and love that we can. So from the bottom of our hearts, a massive thank you to all for helping us do this – without the support of everyone who donates, we would truly find it a huge struggle! And a really massive thank you from the horses and donkeys, whose care is so important.
