Following on from Monday’s blog about the sorry state of a horse competing at Compiègne, here’s a rough breakdown of the completions versus non completions for the two International competitions.

61 non-completions
29 of the non-completions were lame: 15 of those were Middle East, 8 were French

There’s yet more disturbing news coming out of the world of International Endurance.
On May 23, an emaciated horse was passed fit to compete at the initial vet check.
SHAKLA’S SUDDEN IMPACT, ridden by RAED MAHMOOD, was competing from the stables of the
ROYAL ENDURANCE TEAM of BAHRAIN.
