Today we went out to see ERF pony Perry who has been with his adoptive family for a year now. The first thing I noticed straight away was how svelte perry was now looking compared to the rather rotund pony of last year. I went back up to check on them and to take the pictures today. When they’d come off the trailer on Friday they had rubbed their tails a bit, so I had washed the sore area and put some cream on. When they saw me today, they didn’t want to come anywhere near me, in case I interfered with them again! Donkeys are so funny, they have long memories!

A big thank to all who came and supported ERF last Saturday at the Blooming Great Tea Party which was organised in aid of Marie Curie. We were pleased to have raised approx 80€ on the day and once again the sale of good quality 2nd hand books went really well. If you have any books you have read and would like to pass on then please think of ERF as this gets us some much needed funds in....

This week we went visiting ERF adopted horses Tiko (formerly Accord) and Hug. It was great to see them both again and to see the change in their personality and physique since they originally came into ERF ownership. Big thanks to both Guardians for giving these 2 special horses a second chance in life.
