Tourist trade equines

The Brooke charity are urging holiday makers to be responsible tourists and follow the ‘Happy Holiday Horses code‘.
Obviously, in some countries animals are an essential source of income from the tourist trade, so if you follow the code of conduct and are vigilant, no animal or human need suffer.

If you see an animal being severely mistreated, consider making a formal complaint to your tour operator, tourist police or the local authorities…..don’t just turn away, use your voice as they don’t have one!
