Busy week for ERF!
Posted by on May 2, 2008 in Uncategorized | 0 commentsThe past week has been a busy one for us to say the least!
We were asked to inspect 2 separate welfare cases after concerns from members of the public. These horses are now under surveillance and we have commenced actions to get the situations rectified.
The weekend was spent fencing a field for ERF’s rescue mare and yearling that were purchased from St Yrieix horse sale. Much needed fencing was purchased for ERF (thanks to you!) to enable us to give them a separate field away from other horses as they are still in a quarantine period. They had spent the past week inside whilst they were wormed and treated for lice.
Whilst both still being very nervous of humans they are showing a bit of interest now by poking their noses through Jenny’s kitchen window which adjoins their paddock!
